Bill sent an e-mail about your conversation and asked that I send some samples.  Here is enough to treat 6 deep cycles 12volts (1oz per cell).  If your batteries are new you probably will not notice any difference, but they will run like new longer.  On the other hand, if your batteries are 2 to 3 years old and you notice they take longer to charge and you can’t go hard all day (like when new).  Allow about 5 fishing trips to see full effect, but you should notice shorter charge time at a lower finish amp rate and longer running time.  The batteries should be good for 1 or 2 years longer than is the norm for the batteries. This is somewhat dependent on age and condition when they are first treated.

Dear Battery Equaliser,

I have been using this product for several years and have found it has up to doubled the life of my deep cycle trolling motor batteries (3).  One question – I understand that you cannot “overdose” with this product, so I assume that it is O.K. to use it for regular top ups. Guess the downside could be the cost factor but there have been occasions when distilled water is not available. Do I assume correctly?

Thanks for the long term, real world results of using Battery Equaliser.  You are correct too much Battery Equaliser will not harm a battery in any way only your wallet (a little bit, but far less than a new battery).
